Charlotte Shares Wrestling history with Ric 1989

It was the year 1989, Ric Flair had one hell of a feud with Ricky Steamboat and had three epic matches. Ricky Steamboat initially came back to the WCW Saturday Night as a special tag team partner. I was tuning into both then WWF and WCW then. After there feud was over after Ric Flair won the title and was champion in walked Terry Funk and Ric had to prepare for an epic war even bigger then Ricky Steamboat.

Fast forward to 2016, Charlotte, the daughter of Ric Flair, but what she has done in the ring maybe better then Ric in his career. And she had a feud with Sasha Banks, who they took it to the extreme, they had Hell in the Cell matches, they had no dq matches, they had steel cage matches, they keep trading the belt back and forth. It established Charlotte as the number 1 heel even better then Fabulous Moolah.

And then something epic happened on Raw, history repeated itself in wrestling. Something classical and epic. Bayley walked out and challenged Charlotte and I said to myself if she wins its going to be one of the great rivalries. And she did.

Charlotte and Bayley do come the New Year in 2017, Maybe one of the great Women rivalries of all time. Bayley’s peppy in your face, take nothing for granted and out wrestling in all she could and have bragging rights. It’s going to be a good year. Already Charlotte has had classic feuds with Paige and Sasha, Bayley is next in store for her.

Bayley and Charlotte clique in the ring already and have that chemistry even better then she had with Sasha. And I know they are ready to take their all time feud to the next level.

As the year ends, we get a little taste of the New Year and what could come. For Ric Flair the next great feud was Terry Funk, could Charlotte be ready to follow in her Dad’s footsteps and take the Bayley feud to the next level. 2017 will tell the tale.
