In my latest addition of What I am grateful for? I choose the job I will do in the future and that is my writing and my speaking to crowds about different topics. I believe my writing could help some people through my experiences that I have had. I am a recovering addict who had bouts of mental health issues and I recovered. I also have faced job issues where I am not working that much, but I am not stressing I know God will provide as he knows I am working on a dream and I will get there one way or another.
I remember that it was Senior year in high school that I decided I wanted to be a writer, but I listened to others who said you will never succeed if you write a self-help book or that it is too competitive. So I gave up on my dreams and went to college and study what others told me I was good at. I choose Sociology and wound up in a job with counseling because I felt I could help. I wrote in school, but it wasn’t I want to write about but I discovered a lot.
4 years ago the dream came back to me and 3 1/2 years later I started writing a book and now I am promoting it. I plan on writing more books through out my life even maybe do some movies. I believe I can do and I am grateful for the fact I can do it despite what challenge faces me. I know I have job problems like every one else and I know I have little money, but I won’t let that stop my dreams. I know God will provide and that I will prosper through the darkest road I follow. God did not fail me and even though I am tested every day. I still write. It’s just now I bring my work out to the open.
What would have happened if Divinci didn’t show his work to the world and was hiding it. We would have never known the true beauty that lies with his work. Same here I can not hide and must be courageous and despite that some of my work might be controversial. It’s need in a time like this. This is why I am grateful for my future job. I could reach out to many people. I could reach out to those who read. I could reach out to inspire many by the stories I write. The beauty of writing is you don’t know what’s said, but it comes to you and passions road of heaven open up to you. That is why I am grateful for my future job of writing and speaking to people.
